Overview

The Sydney Whale Watching Ocean Adventure is a 1.5 hr tour to view the migrating humpback whales. Ride the surf and swell out of the harbour and enjoy the greatest adventure whale watching tour in Sydney.

Activity Highlights:

• Blast outside the harbour heads at speeds of up to 80km/h in perfect safety on our 8.5m Rigid Inflatable speedboat to spend some up close and personal time with the mighty migrating humpback whales.

• We will cover the immediate coastal waters off Sydney assisted by the pilots at SYDNEY SEAPLANES to locate the whales.

• We pride ourselves as being Sydney's fastest whale watching vessel, getting you out to the whales, spending as much time as possible with them and enjoying an exhilarating thrill ride on the way home.

Numbers

The price quoted is for 1 person. There will be up to 12 people on the boat. If you have a group of 6 or more we can arrange a personalised group tour departing from Rose Bay/ Manly or other city locations.

Session Time

The total experience is approximately 1.5 hours in duration. Please check in at least 15 minutes early.

Guidelines & Restrictions

You must be at least 8 years or older to participate in this activity. All participants must be over 145cm tall and medically fit to ride the boat. Participants under 18yrs old must have a parent or guardian sign the indemnity form for them. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the confirmed departure time of your first activity. All boat tours leave promptly, and unfortunately late arrivals will be disappointed.

Extra Info

Tours run with a minimum of 4 people. All passengers must be medically fit to ride the boat and sign an indemnity form. Children (8 to 14yrs) must be at least 145cm tall to ride. Children aged under 10yrs by prior arrangement only. Children aged under 12 yrs must ride with a parent or guardian. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them. Please note your booking will be confirmed by email, if you have not received a confirmation email please call 1300 46 36 48.

"I recently booked a whale watch trip on a speedboad for 2 from Manly, and I have to say it was the most fun I think I've ever had! Not only did we see a pod of 5 to 6 whales, we also saw some interesting parts of history including some tunnels in a cliff face that were used during the war, and a ladder half way down a vertical cliff face that was used by Rock fisherman. We were then taken for some amazing 360 spins on the boat, and returned back to the pod to see the whales again. To top it off, we saw a fur Seal right in front of the boat, and got to watch a Seaplane land. We both had a grin from ear to ear the whole time, and were babbling afterwards about how amazing the whole experience was! The tour guide was very informative, and made sure everyone was feeling comfortable and safe. I'll be returning to do the Manly whale watch again before the season is over!" Megan, Jun 2009
