Seaplane Flight to a Secluded Sandy Cay

Overview

Enjoy the romance of a secluded sandy cay nestled within the spectacular coral gardens of the Great Barrier Reef.

Your flight starts when you meet at our office to check in and are walked through the essential safety briefing. We will travel by boat to our pontoon where the seaplane departs from.

We take off from the water of Trinity Inlet in Cairns. As the sea plane lifts off, keep an eye out for the local marine life in the crystal clear waters below.

Soon we will arrive at a secluded cay where you can set up your beach umbrella and enjoy a glass of Australian sparkling wine at this uniquely beautiful location. Or perhaps you prefer to simply dive straight in the inviting ocean to snorkel among the colourful tropical fish and corals.

You will have 2 hours at your own leisure enjoying the peaceful surroundings before we return to our base with a scenic seaplane flight.

Cairns (Cairns and Tropical North Queensland - Queensland)

Hotel transfers from Cairns area are included in the price. A surcharge applies for those requiring transfers from the Northern Beach area.

Numbers

We can carry only 5-7 people each flight, but we can not guarantee that there are no other tourists on the Island. There could be up to 15 people on the island.

Session Time

We suggest you allow 4 hours for the entire experience. This will include check in, a safety briefing, a scenic seaplane flight and 2 hours on the cay at your leisure.

Guidelines & Restrictions

Child rate applies to those aged 2-12 years old. Those under 2 years old may travel for free but this is subject to the pilot's discretion on the day. There is no wheelchair access permitted.

This package includes a bottle of Australian sparkling wine and nibbles, snorkeling equipment, beach umbrella, blankets, soft drinks, morning/afternoon tea.

Extra Info

This tour operates only in perfect weather conditions; otherwise we will travel to Green Island and include an additional scenic flight.
