Overview

Join us for a spectacular 1 hour or Special 45 minute hot air balloon flight over the Gold Coast! Come and experience the oldest form of flight. Float gently with the early morning breezes over the Gold Coast, followed by a lovely champagne breakfast. Memories to last forever.

Activity Highlights:

• Clean air and stunning views from Brisbane to Cape Byron.

• The backdrop is always the high rise buildings of Surfers Paradise silhouetted against the shimmering silver/blue Pacific Ocean and golden beaches, and the forests and mountains of the Hinterland.

What's Included:

• Welcoming tea/coffee/biscuits before the balloon flight whilst the balloon is inflated.

• One hour / 45 minute Balloon flight.

• A beautiful champagne breakfast at the 5 star Palm Meadows Golf Resort.

• Flight certificates are presented at a special ceremony

Location

Carrara (Gold Coast - Queensland)

Your balloon flight takes place over the Gold Coast & Hinterland. The actual launch and landing sites, and the flight path are decided by the pilot on the morning of the flight based on the wind direction and speed that morning.

Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.

Numbers

Our balloons hold 5, 10 and 16 passengers. The big balloon baskets are divided into compartments each taking 3 or 4 people. Everyone has ample space and a dedicated part of the basket edge to call their own and to lean on and look out from.

Session Time

You should allow approximately 4 hours from start to finish including 1 hour in the air, followed by a lovely champagne breakfast.

Guidelines & Restrictions

As your comfort and safety are our primary considerations we will not fly if the weather conditions are unsuitable - primarily if it is too windy or too wet. If we are weathered out we will reschedule to another date that suits you, so please take this into account when making your booking.

Others are very welcome to come along on the morning without going on the balloon flight. They can follow the

flight by following our vehicles to the landing site. They can also join in the champagne breakfast after the flight.

* Casual clothing is suggested and closed toed shoes (sneakers/joggers/walking shoes) * It is no colder up in the air than it is when you walk out the front door, so just wear what you are warm and comfortable in. Layers are a good idea as it gets warmer as the morning proceeds. * Bring your sunglasses, camera (reliable batteries) and a hat if needed. A surcharge applies to persons over 115 kg A child is aged 4 to 14 years inclusive. Children under 4 years old are not eligible to fly.

Booking Insurance

It is recommended that you consider GoDo Booking Insurance. This is insurance cover for losses incurred if the activity is cancelled (under certain circumstances) by you or the activity supplier. Click here for further details.

Please note: GoDo and/or the activity supplier cannot provide a REFUND for cancellations, no matter the reasons. However, should you obtain Cancellation Cover, you maybe be able to make a claim directly to Mondial Assistance, our Booking Insurance provider.
